The versatility of the HESCO Concertainer system enables it to be used in large-scale construction and public works projects. A typical use is in the creation of retaining walls to stabilize and protect the foundation of buildings, roads, bridges and similar structures.
As well as the fully-lined HESCO Concertainer and Floodline units, Concertainer gabions (where the fill material is intended to be seen) come in two basic types: the unlined Concertainer Rockbox unit and the Concertainer Rockface unit.
Rockface, a partially geotextile-lined Concertainer gabion, achieves a decorative stone facing with a concealed sand or earth filled core. Rockbox is an unlined gabion, which has the unique advantage of being pre-assembled, providing significant time-savings on site when compared to other gabion products.
